We are seeking a highly detail-oriented, self-motivated professional who takes pride in delivering quality work and demonstrates a strong commitment to accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate takes ownership of their work, maintains high professional standards, and is committed to building and protecting a strong reputation within the industry. • Coordinate sprinkler system layouts with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural trades using overlay methods and BIM coordination to minimize conflicts and rework.
  • Maintain full project awareness throughout the design process, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact installation, schedule, or budget.
  • Prepare complete permit packages, including fire sprinkler plans, hydraulic calculations, seismic bracing calculations, and material submittals for Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs), general contractors, and project stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to AHJ comments, plan review feedback, and permit revision requests.
  • Generate accurate material takeoffs, fabrication lists, and stock lists based on approved designs and verified field conditions.
  • Coordinate material procurement and ordering with vendors to support project schedules and installation requirements.
  • Prepare clear, complete, and accurate installation drawings, fabrication reports, and related documentation for field personnel.
  • Provide technical support to field teams during installation by answering design-related questions and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Communicate design changes, scope revisions, and any potential impacts to labor, cost, or schedule to the Project Manager and Estimator.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, estimators, field supervisors, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
  • Build and maintain strong professional relationships with customers, project teams, field personnel, vendors, and AHJs.
  • Maintain organized and accurate project documentation throughout all phases of a project.
  • Prepare and deliver complete, accurate, and timely closeout documentation upon project completion.
  • Stay current with NFPA standards, industry best practices, emerging technologies, and fire sprinkler design methodologies to continuously improve design quality and efficiency.
