Manufacturing Training & Documentation Industrial Engineer
Location: Fairfield, OH – Onsite
Duration: 6 Months Contract – Possible Extension
Pay Rate: $59/hr on W-2

Job Description
Seeking an experienced Manufacturing Training & Documentation Industrial Engineer to support manufacturing process improvements, documentation, and training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain SOPs, Standard Work, Job Instructions, OJT materials, and visual work instructions
Observe manufacturing/warehouse processes and create process maps and workflows
Partner with operators, engineers, supervisors, quality, and operations teams
Identify opportunities for process improvement, efficiency, and automation
Support Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives and standard work
Create training guides, checklists, visual aids, and training matrices
Ensure documentation reflects current processes, safety requirements, and quality standards
Qualifications
3+ years of manufacturing/Industrial Engineering experience
Experience in process engineering, continuous improvement, technical writing, or manufacturing training
Strong experience with process mapping, SOPs, work instructions, and OJT documentation
Manufacturing/warehouse floor experience
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Standard Work, and process improvement
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Visio or similar process-mapping tools
Strong communication, technical writing, and problem-solving skills
Experience with automation or engineering changes is highly preferred
