Julie Arrington

Julie Arrington is a visual artist and educator — the perfect creative coach for Big O.  She likes to experiment with a variety of media, but her joy is painting in acrylics and adding in layers of texture with gesso, fabric and mesh wiring to create abstract art.  She enjoys using her gifts in creative arts as a K-6 teacher as well, and is in her 11th year teaching.  When working on commissioned pieces, she creates works that use vivid color and visual appeal to bring a space together — marrying her artistry to the needs of an interior to create cohesive and beautiful spaces.

Julie immigrated to the United States in 1992 from Ukraine and is fluent in Russian. She is a graduate of prestigious Meredith college with a degree in Studio Art. She is married and has two beautiful children.
